It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! Denise Linney was delighted to tell us about the homemade gifts she will be selling, and why she always looks forward to this time of the year.

Thanks for being an exhibitor at the 2018 PA Christmas & Gift Show.

Is it true that you are a returning exhibitor?

I believe this will be my 11th year at the PA Christmas & Gift Show.

We are so glad to have you back! What do you enjoy most about the gift show?

I love this show for many reasons. I love it for the time of year, and the crowds of people that come back each year to shop. I love the holiday atmosphere and how the building takes on a whole different look once everyone gets their booths set up. Most of all, I love the wonderful people that put this show on. Their dedication and hard work bring all of us together for a wonderful shopping experience. Last, I love it because of the customers who purchase my items, they make the long hours that I work to make the stock for this show worthwhile. I remember driving to this show for many years to shop before I decided to be a vendor. This show is part of the Christmas season in my opinion.

That is very nice of you to say. We also can’t imagine the Christmas season without the show, and all the great people who travel to it. What kind of Christmas merch will you be offering this year at your booth?

Most of my country booth is filled with my handmade crafts. Many of these are wood items cut out for me by my son. I also carry holiday grapevine wreaths, as well as some painted and decorated vintage items. You will also find lots of Christmas ornaments, some lighted items, and a big selection of trees. If you need battery timer candles I have them plus lights, garlands, and a big variety of handmade stenciled signs. If you are looking for handmade crafts and unique holiday items, please come see us. My daughter Jaime also has some wonderful items that she has made available for you to purchase. I would love to have you come and shop with us.

These all sound very unique. How long have you guys been making & selling these items?

I have been crafting for 30 years. I started way back just selling refrigerator magnets and hats. Over the years I have changed what I make, and now I am a country booth full of items that can make your home a happy place. I also love to recycle old vintage items into something for the holidays that will decorate your home.

It seems like you really love the holidays. What is your favorite thing about Christmas?

My favorite thing about Christmas is the way it brings out the kindness and giving in people. I’m not going to lie, I think Christmas is a magical time for children, especially when they still believe in Santa Claus. There is nothing more amazing than seeing children wake up to the realization that Santa was there, and they jump out of bed to see what Santa left for them by the tree.

It is definitely an exciting time for children. Is there anything else you would like to say to all the other Christmas lovers and shoppers coming to this year’s show?

Come to the show, have fun, shop, and shop some more. I will look forward to seeing all my regular customers, and each year I always meet some new ones. Safe travels to and from the show. See you all soon. I am in the main hall, booths 574 and 575.

Thanks so much, Denise. We look forward to continuing our Christmas tradition with you!

DENISE’S KOUNTRY PATCH will be located at booths #574 & 575 this year. Stop by and meet her, or become reacquainted. You won’t be disappointed.
