The time is finally here. In the immortal words of Tom Petty, “It’s Christmas all over again!” and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Santa Claus has officially come to town. Did you see mommy kissing Santa Claus, or was that Father Christmas? Did he catch you stirring and ask, “What child is this?” Don’t let one Bad Santa spoil the whole bunch. Christmas isn’t just a time for merry gentlemen; Christmas is for everyone.
There’s a lot to think about this year. Everyone leaves out cookies and milk for Santa, but what if he’s developed a gluten allergy? What if he’s now lactose intolerant? Did you pick up gluten and dairy-free desserts just in case? And did you remember to put something on the plate for the reindeer? They work extra hard pulling the sleigh after Santa loads up on all those treats. Did you know that reindeer love carrots and apples? It’s true. Google it. Come to think of it, maybe that’s why Rudolph’s nose is so red! If you forgot, that’s okay. There’s always next year. Luckily, reindeer don’t have the power to put someone on the naughty list. Only jolly old Saint Nick can do that.
It may be cold outside, but all is calm, all is bright, and there’s no way the Grinch is going to steal Christmas tonight. A Christmas story we can all get behind is that it’s a wonderful life and we’re happy tonight! So, sing a carol of the bells, dance with the sugar plum fairies, deck the halls, jingle all the way, dash through the snow, sock it to Santa, yell at the Xmas tree, play “pa rum pum pum pum” on a little drum, and dream of a white Christmas (just like all the ones you’ve known). Whether you are Home Alone or “Walking in a winter wonderland,” we hope you have yourselves a merry little Christmas full of sleigh rides and silver bells. We look forward to spreading yuletide cheer with you all next holiday season.
